Over the last few weeks, a scrambling search has been on across Indonesia for interesting ‘stuff’ with which to fill the beach house, from enormous stone bathtubs, oversized antique copper boiling pots to cute timber stools. And it’s only taken what seems like 5,000 emails, hours of flying and never-ending days of trawling through sweltering, dusty backstreets (where it appeared to me, erroneously no doubt, that no tourist had ever set foot before!) whilst dodging seas of speeding scooters! However, it’s all been worth it because the shipment of chosen goodies have at last made their way to the high seas and are currently chugging their way Southwards – destination: Culburra Beach, NSW!
1 week and 5 days to go until completion of sale. Eek!
