As you might expect from a DCD adventure, this absolute beachfront house will be totally refurbished in keeping with our distinctive madcap style; expect this beach house to be no ordinary beach house! It will bear all the stamps of our trademark aesthetic; our passion for creating an idiosyncratic space, littered with auction house treasures and antique market finds, all hunted down with a cool, contemporary eye. Keeping the other eye on supreme comfort and luxury, the beach house will marry an eclectic, hip interior with ultra-modern, industrial kitchen and new bathrooms to provide what you want most from a beachside break: to luxuriate in a cool and sleek space with sublime views and direct, private access to the beach.
Design details to include wall to wall glass doors to capture the sweeping views in the sitting room, large deck spanning the entire width of the house, custom made lighting and bedheads, custom oversized ‘swallow me’ sofas in finest Belgian linen, towels and bed linen by Sheridan, Nespresso coffee machine, and to top it all off, outside will feature a built-in BBQ area with 5-burner BBQ and rotisserie, built-in bar fridge and sink. Culinary heaven!
Benefitting from neighbours to only one side, the house is unusually private, opening the glorious views up to mountains, ocean and beach.
Bedrooms to accommodate 14 people will consist of 1 x King, 2 x Queen and an exceptional ‘play’ room with 1 double bed and 3 sets of bunk beds (will also include all the ‘toys’, and we don’t just mean for the kids!).
Dogs accepted, even encouraged, to take advantage of the outstanding local walks and trails. We have a fully enclosed and secure garden so all furry friends will be safely contained!
Open to welcome the first guests in November 2013, and grand launch to be announced!
