WE JUST LOVE – This apartment in Paris’ 10th arondissement

Equal parts industrial elegance and eclecticism, a retrofit creates an inner-city sanctuary for a modern French family. There is a definite sense of charm and character in this home. Industrial pieces of furniture were mixed with family pieces passed down through generations and a good dash of contemporary design furnishings. This is very much the aesthetic mix, shades of black, grey, with hints of vibrant hues are the main choices of colour. The gorgeous vintage dining table is my favorite, surrounded by Eames chairs of different colours (VERY Debra Cronin Design), one can imagine the lively dinner parties and family gatherings. The table in particular holds central prominence in the open space. It was found at the Marché aux Puces St-Ouen de Clignancourt – one of the oldest and most renowned Parisian flea markets.
